Hunters Cove Restoration Project

As part of the community effort to restore Kings Bay, the Southwest Florida Water Management District is conducting a pilot project to restore eelgrass in Hunters Cove, a 10-acre area surrounding Hunter Springs.

The 6,500-acre Serenova Tract is located in western Pasco County. The tract is part of the District's 20,000-acre Starkey Wilderness Preserve. Serenova offers great outdoor activities for the whole family, including hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking.

The District's 9,300-acre Potts Preserve is a great place to get outside with your friends and family. The property offers a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, biking, boating, fishing and horseback riding.
